Share the knowledge![]() Sometimes I like to fantasize about what it would be like to be a celebrity and go on a luxurious vacation. You always see Beyoncé, Selena Gomez and Kate Moss on wonderful vacations, appearing as if they don’t have a care in the world. I love exploring luxurious travel destinations around the world so, I decided to go on the BluefaceDestinations.com to live out my virtual fantasy. I started out on the ‘Destinations’ tab and chose ‘Luxury Villas’. I love Islands and warm weather, so I clicked Caribbean location and Antigua came up! The resort that it showed was absolutely beautiful! Kairos at Jumby Bay Resort! It is a home that you can rent out for yourself, family or group event! It is 8,703sq ft. has a private beach, 7 bedrooms 7 bathrooms and sleeps 14 people comfortably. It also has a pool and is fully staffed. The name Kairos means “idle time” in Greek. I can think of a lot of things I could do with idle time in a place like that. The landscaping is gorgeous! There are beautiful purple flowers bursting out of handcrafted pottery and palm trees galore. There is an infinity pool overlooking the ocean and private beach. The bedrooms all have their own private door which leads right outside to the oceanfront. The kitchen is state of the art with restaurant style seating. There is a spa onsite, day sailing available, casino night, island tours and a host of other luxuries to indulge in. ![]() After I began to fantasize and research; I found that these trips aren’t as out of reach as I originally thought it would be. The room is $11,995 a night which is $35,984.99 for 3 nights and the flight on the Blueface booking engine was $794.18 for two people on Areomexico leaving from JFK New York airport. Now I must admit…this looks extremely expensive, until you divide it up between 14 people. The total for the room and flight per person is $2967.45! This price becomes more manageable and your celebrity lifestyle that was once out of reach has become more of a reality! This price includes…Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, Unlimited open bar, imported house wine with all meals and afternoon tea, concierge services, beaches of Jumby Bay, watersports, snorkeling gear and guided snorkel tours, sailboarding, sunset cocktail cruise, use of sun floats and sunfish sailboats, croquet and putting green, fitness center, resort bicycles, tennis courts, resort pools, daily NY Times facsimile, evening turndown service, Hawksbill Turtle Project and daily children's program. Kairos at Jumby Bay Resort is a true traveler’s paradise! You only live once, so why not live and travel well! Bring luxury to life! Author~Christina de'Neil |
